Overview
My creative journey has been an adventure in mixed media, primarily the crossroads between the written and spoken word. My studies in screenwriting at Chapman led me into the emerging media of podcasting and audiobooks. All of these endeavors meant working with authors and publishers, and led to my writing my own books and producing them in audio form. (See my portfolio.)
The word spread from L.A. all the way to Boston, and I was soon developing creative works for both authors and publishers. I love collaborating with other creative people, whether authors or my
talented voiceover actors or audio and video producers. This work led to ghostwriting almost a dozen books, as well as developing my editorial skills. I provide a deep focus on finding plot holes, strengthening character arcs, improving dialogue, and story pacing.

Work experience
Labri Publishing
Work as an editor and ghost writer, my boss sends me requests for stories and I have to finish within a certain period of time. Also help with developmental editing, taking existing stories and refining them for publishing.
Beyond Publishing
Most of the stories I ghostwrote had to be finished within a month, so I structured my deadlines to do roughly two chapters a week. Clients usually had different requirements for the theme and story arc so I usually had to do some research before starting the project.
I would finish a 20,000 word story once a month, sometimes two stories, depending on how many clients I was dealing with.
Self-employed
Worked as an editor and ghost writer, clients would send me abstract requests for stories and I was able to write 20,000 word stories within a month. Worked as an editor for the Bella Santini series (the rest of which will be out soon) as well as an editor for a couple self-improvement books/memoirs. I find I really enjoy taking stories and giving them a little polish, because they all have potential to be fun, and they are all diamonds in the rough.
Now I work with a handful of writers and editors, and it's fun to be part of a team, focused on making stories better together.
Self-employed
As an audiobook editor and producer, I am given a lot of books by clients, and it is my job to look over the manuscript, find the voices/narrators from my small company, supervise the recording process, edit the book, and send the completed product back. I enjoy the process mostly because I love hearing the story told in a new way, as well as working with my small crew, but I'm also an sucker for listening to a new adventure.
