Overview
Before I was a writer, I was a reader. I love classic novels like Les Miserables, Anna Karenina, and Gone With the Wind. I am passionate about YA and Middle Grade literature, and they are the genres I most like to read and write for. Some of my favorites in those genres are Bridge to Terabithia, Fat Boy vs The Cheerleaders, and The Wednesday Wars.
I majored in Editing and Publishing at Brigham Young University. I am fluent in Spanish, and even more fluent in Hispanic food. (Cuban is my favorite).
On my best days, you can find me doing yoga, exploring watercolor painting, or going on adventures with my two little kids.
