I currently work as Managing Editor of a quarterly journal of ideas from in and around effective altruism.
My background in brief:
I studied English and Anthropology at Tufts, where I graduated summa cum laude.
I worked in public health and international development for ten years: I have a PhD in Public Health with an emphasis on nutrition, and worked as a consultant to USAID and the Gates Foundation for five years.
I most enjoy working at the intersection of rigorous science and popular writing.
