Overview
I am also an illustrator, focusing on pen and ink drawings, horror drawings, and comics--my specialty is black-and-white crosshatching ink drawings, often with a speculative/narrative/genre bent. I can do spot illustrations, graphic narrative, editorial illustrations, illustrations for covers, you name it. I love all kinds of projects, from those that are a bit out-of-the-box (see: symphony score cover of Boom Goes the Dynamite for Paul Dooley) to those that are grounded in the details of everyday life (see Sidle Creek by Jolene McIlwain).
In my day job, I am a production manager for children's books, so I know the book design & production process intimately and I am very familiar with the needs of book specifications.
