I've been an editor since college really, always being asked by friends and colleagues to edit their works. So I turned what came naturally to me into a freelance business in 2011. My professional writing experience includes: college papers, working as a paralegal for three years in various areas of law (personal injury, family law, intellectual property). Most people know that Paralegals do most of the writing for the attorney, they usually do the tweaking/editing, and research case law, It's our job to catch their mistakes before documents are sent out, so ultimately I have been trained to have a very keen eye for content structure, misspelled words, flow, and syntax. I've also been a Policy and Procedure Writer for two years at the State of Nevada Office of Public Health, Informatics and Epidemiology. Public Health has been my day career for the past seven years where I've also written: policies and procedures for an HIV program, grants, business memos, correspondence , staff job descriptions, and sponsorship packages and marketing material for health events. In my spare time I was a contributing writer and editor for BOSS Magazine out of Atlanta for four years, and through my small business, An Howard Publishing.
