I am an editor with thirteen years of experience in the industry, and currently work as a senior editor with Penguin Random House India.
I have worked on titles centred on politics, education, marketing and business, romance, coming of age, self-help and well-being. Can't wait to check fantasy, crime and nature/environment off the list.
Switching from media to the publishing industry was a conscious choice, as I wanted to be associated with books and the many worlds they open up to a reader.
Being a reader myself, I understand what makes for a compelling storyline and have the tools to tailor a manuscript to the readership it aims to reach.
Collaborating with authors and their ideas is something I enjoy doing and hope my work makes a difference to the world of books.

I have grown up reading books and have a special place in my heart for them. Now that I am working on them myself, I have committed myself to making every book that I edit or proofread one of the best in the industry.
I look forward to working with different authors, genres and ideas.
I do prefer fiction, but I have a special interest in nature and environment, cookbooks and self-improvement as well. Hope to see you soon in my inbox.
