Taylor Graham – Editor

Former full-time editor at a self-publisher; now a full-time freelance editor experienced in nonfiction

Overview

After resigning from my full-time job as an editor in January 2018 to take the leap to freelance full-time, I can now say that was one of the best decisions I've made in my career thus far. It's opened up so many opportunities for me that I would have otherwise never found, or even been available for when working one job full-time.

While I work with a lot of publishers line editing, proofreading, and copyediting, I prefer working with individuals, helping them through the writing process in any way I can. Some come to me knowing exactly what they need (a copyedit and nothing more), while others come to me with their first book written but unsure where to go from there. I work with a typesetter and graphic designer to help my authors beyond the editing process, where we can have their book ready for print.
