I currently provide freelance per diem court interpreter and translator services for the Office of Language Access for the New York States Unified Court system.

I have over 25 years of training and experience as a proofreader, copyeditor, and indexer, serving industries including government, law enforcement, medicine, pharmacy, and others. I am very familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style (CMoS) and the Associated Press style books, as well as with the Unabridged Merriam-Webster Dictionary standard.

I founded this company in August of 2006, providing interpretation, translation, transcription, copyediting
and proofreading services in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

I currently serve as a Certified Court Interpreter, and Translator for the State of Connecticut Judicial
Branch's Office of Translator and Interpreter Services, within the Connecticut Superior Court System. I am
proficient in Consecutive Interpretation, Simultaneous Interpretation, Sight Translation, and document
translation. I am certified by the National Center for State Courts to interpret between English and
Spanish, and have passed the Administrative Office of the United States Courts' written test.
