Rima Kar

Rima Kar – Editor

An editor since the last decade and half. You can count on me for developmental, line, and copy editing, proofreading, ghost writing, et al

Overview

More than a decade of experience in publishing has seen me working in all aspects of pre-press in fiction and non-fiction. I have worked to create successful books out of manuscripts in various publishing houses.

My skills include:

~developmental editing,

~line editing,

~copy editing,

~manuscript review and beta reading, and

~ghost writing.

I have a Master’s in English Literature, and Indian Philosophy and Religion, and a voracious appetite for reading in all genres. These ammunitions decidedly give me an edge in honing manuscripts to reach their best potential.

As an editor, I revel in work satisfaction (because who wouldn’t like to make a living by correcting other people!) I'm an avid traveller too. I have also lived in many Indian cities gaining an envious understanding of specific urban cultures. My languages-known tally hits five with Assamese, Bengali, English, Hindi, and Spanish.

I have worked with fabulously talented authors and across genres some of my projects are listed below.
