Ori Weisberg

Ori Weisberg – Editor

Experienced editor and teacher of writing and composition with a PhD in English from U of Michigan. Published articles, working on a novel.

Overview

I hold a PhD in English from the University of Michigan. I work as a translator (Hebrew-English) and editor and have worked on books published with U of Chicago Press, U of California Press, and Fordham UP. My writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Moment Magazine, Haaretz, The Forward, and Times of Israel. My first novel, Return to the Vale of Shades, set in an old stone house in Jerusalem that may or may not be haunted, is nearing completion. I live in Jerusalem with my wife and three absurdly attractive children. I also compose music, including an 18-song song cycle setting of the Hebrew Song of Songs.
