It's a skill I've spent my life perfecting and it's what I can bring to your next project.

I’ve been writing fiction for as long as I’ve been writing. I started out emulating my favorite storytellers then found my own voice and am now comfortable shaping any text toward its desired end. I write relatable characters in compelling scenarios with authentic dialogue and engaging prose. Speculative fiction is my jam (sci-fi, horror, fantasy), but I'm comfortable writing across a range of genres. I can meet you at any stage of the process, whether you're looking for someone to jazz up a rough draft, transform your outline into a manuscript, or build an idea from the ground up.

Working as an editor for my high school and college newspapers taught me pacing, research, communication, adherence to deadlines, and the importance of grabbing your reader from line one. I studied screenwriting and short story writing in college and novel writing while earning my MFA. Professionally, I've been part of the tech world (composing and editing research reports for a B2B SaaS startup) and in education (teaching English to US high schoolers and to kindergarten and elementary students in South Korea).
