Michael Butcher – Editor

I’m an academic editor who specializes in copyediting works on Asian religions like Hinduism and Buddhism. I have a PhD in Asian Languages and Literature, and I’ve published articles about ancient Buddhist manuscripts found in what is now Pakistan and Afghanistan, where strangely enough you can find statues of the Buddha that look like they were made by Greek sculptors. I like to work with professors and grad students to make their writing consistent, well-formatted, and clear for non-specialists. I am proficient in Chicago (17th) and APA (7th).
