Hello, I'm Maya!
A petite maker of charming things looking to bring a small smile or laugh.
Currently, I concentrate on illustrating children's books.
And before moving to Seoul, I worked as a children's book designer at Penguin Young Readers.
I mainly focused on designing picture books and novel interiors and love looking for the right fonts to match the narrative of the book.
I am available if you are looking for the following services:
Picture Book: Interior & Cover Design
Illustrated Middle Grade: Interior & Cover Design
Middle Grade/YA: Interior Design Only
(If you already have a book cover design, I can quickly typeset a novel for a tight deadline too)
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
My friends also know me for food recommendations and big sweet tooth.
Instead of only eating, I draw my food at mogumogueats.wordpress.com.
This has led to food related projects for Chronicle Books and Illustoria.
So if you need any kind of food illustrations, please don't hesitate to contact me as well!
