Linda Verde

Linda Verde – Editor

An editor experienced in many fields, I honour your voice and make your words shine with your authentic message so you stand out.

Overview

I love editing! Taking ideas and putting them in a way that makes the message clear and filled with the author's essence. Each project is different and exciting because there is always that element of fitting things together in the best possible way to reach the audience it is meant to reach.
When I am asked why I became an editor the big answer is, that I get to read. Over the more than 30 years I have been editing, I have gotten to read books, articles, theses, white papers, annual reports, and just about any kind of content marketing out there in almost as many areas. The range of books I have edited include fiction, management, self-help, inspiration, well-being, and hypnosis. With clients such as CIBC Wood Gundy, College of Nurses of Ontario, Pappin Communications, 3M, Maxwell Management, and many professionals from different walks of life, I continue to slake my avid interest about the many components of our fascinating life on this planet.
Currently, I am editor-in-chief of two peer-reviewed medical journals. Previously I was managing editor, then publisher and editor of Ivey's management magazine. I worked at Ivey for 23 years preparing content for publication. Now, working as a freelancer and doing what I love is a big part of my success, including winning the 2019 Entrepreneur-of-the Year award from Rise Asset Development.
Passion, integrity, intelligence, and authenticity are the hallmarks of my work and I bring them and vast knowledge and experience to the table. Putting all this to work for my clients illuminates their unique value by ensuring their messages are accurate and clear. That in itself builds your credibility. Becoming an author can put you on a bigger stage and change your life. Are you ready? I am here and can help you reach your dream of being known and celebrated for who you are.
