I will work one-on-one with you through every stage of your creative process to ensure your book tells the story you want to tell and that it meets the most rigorous professional standards. I've worked as a writer and editor for lifestyle magazines, including the award-winning Martha's Vineyard Magazine; and as a writing coach and editor for both fiction and non-fiction manuscripts. I have hands-on experience in publishing, having served as editor-in-chief and co-publisher of AVALON magazine, which was distributed in key markets across the US and Canada. That I returned to school in my fifties to achieve a BA in legal studies and graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA speaks to my exacting standards and communications skills. Additional services I provide are narration, graphic design, web design, navigating publishing platforms, liaising with booksellers and media, sending out galleys for review, and creating marketing and promotion campaigns.
