I'm a professional copyeditor and proofreader with in-house publishing experience and a bachelor's degree in creative writing.

Overview

A ten-year veteran of the publishing industry, I bring a multitude of skills and publishing knowledge to every project and am committed to helping my clients publish high-quality books. Before launching my full-time freelance career, I was the managing editor for an academic publisher and an editor for a multipurpose publishing company. I also spent time copyediting and writing for two newspapers, consulting undergraduate students on their writing at a university writing center, and evaluating manuscripts for The Florida Review literary journal. My clients include independent authors (both fiction and nonfiction), publishers, editorial agencies, businesses, and students. My motto is “There’s nothing to fear when your book is in the right hands.”
