Lorraine Cobcroft – Ghostwriter

My company, Rainbow Works, specialises in ghostwriting informational and instructional works and writing business reports, marketing copy and investment offer documents.

A very diverse work background and life experience and strong research skills equip me to work in a wide variety of areas, and wide-ranging skills position me to add value by handling page design and layout, typography, web page building and e-publishing, and arranging print publication.

As well as servicing business needs, I also mentor and edit for authors and help them self-publish, specialising in memoirs, biographies, and collections of short stories and poetry. I offer honest critiquing, developmental and structural editing, book reviews, creation of author bios, presentation packs, sell sheets, and author websites.

For much of my working life, I was involved in software documentation and production, including pioneering website creation technology and working extensively in the field of visual software development. This has equipped me with a strong knowledge of computers, software, and internet technology. Having also founded and run several businesses in diverse areas, and worked with business operators to improve efficiency and profitability, I also have sound knowledge of business management and marketing, and a detailed understanding of business accounting and financial management.

Now semi-retired and working for personal satisfaction, I select projects carefully, engaging only when I know I can add excellent value, and I work at low charge rates and with a full satisfaction guarantee.

I reside in the beautiful Tweed Coast area of northern N.S.W., Australia, but I can and do work with clients all over the world thanks to Internet technology.
