Catherine Langford – Editor

I have 12 years of experience as a science editor at a research institute, and I hold a Diploma in Publishing from Whitireia. I also have experience working with fantasy and sci-fi novels through critique groups and side-gigs while I was a non-fiction editor, and I am now taking these projects professionally.

I provide copyediting services for two broad groups: self-published SFF authors, and STEM students and academics, particularly those in the field of biological sciences.

I'm also currently relearning my typesetting skills that I put on hold while I was working full-time as a salaried editor.

My portfolio looks a little sparse because none of the work I did in my previous position can be listed; but please take my word for it - I have a lot of experience editing time-sensitive technical scientific documents. I am speedy and accurate, so my hourly rate works out to a smaller quoted price for you.
