Amma Twum-Baah – Editor

Multicultural book editor, 10+ years of experience specializing in developmental editing, copyediting, and basic proofreading.

Overview

I'm a multicultural book editor with a decade of both fiction and non-fiction editing experience. Like any avid reader, I love a good read free of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and misplaced punctuation. This is one of many reasons why I have made editing my life's work; that and the fact that I desire to see books of all cultures and experiences represented on the world stage. I specialize in developmental editing, copy editing, and basic proofreading.

Work experience

Self-employed

Oct, 2013 — Present

Before becoming a freelance book editor, I was the publisher and editor of an online magazine for 5 years. I was also a corporate paralegal for 5 years at a trade association in Washington, D.C., as well as an editorial staff member at the National Capital Area Paralegals Association and The American Bankers Association.

Together, I have about a decade worth of experience as an editor, a publisher, and a storyteller. I offer personal one-on-one service and dedicate my time and efforts to ensuring that your story is exactly what you envision it to be. If this is what you've been looking for, then you're in the right place, I look forward to helping you tell your story, whatever that story may be.
