My most recent permanent post was as an Executive Editor at Mitchell Beazley, where I was responsible for the general reference list. I developed concepts and commissioned highly illustrated, non-fiction titles on various subjects – popular science, pet care, sports, natural history. I have been freelance since 1999 and have worked on many titles as copy editor or proof reader. I've also worked as a book packager (with designer Geoff Borin) on '100 Best Gluten-free Foods', 'Lucy's Food' and 'Notes from the Jam Cupboard'. Most recently I have co-founded and co-authored a website - agnesforgirls (a life guide for teenage girls).
