Katherine Lee – Designer

Enhancing meaning and metaphor is what I specialize in.

I love creating book cover designs, photo art, illustration, and web design with purpose.

I collaborate with you to translate your vision. Authors and content creators know that I intuit and generate visual form to complete a project's vision and package.

I earned my Honours BFA in Photography from the University of Manitoba, and my Certificate in Communication Design Essentials from Emily Carr University of Art & Design and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

I use digital photography, paper-based media, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Draw, Procreate, and InDesign.

I've performed professionally as a musician and sound artist. I have been an associate producer intern with a national broadcaster, an award-winning multimedia producer and sound designer, a digital project manager, an arts administrator, a cultural investment analyst, and a college instructor.

Passion project: I'm currently collaborating on a book project with George Toles, pairing images with George's short stories—which for more than ten years have comprised daily Facebook status updates. Currently seeking a publisher for this work.
