I’m a passionate creative professional with 25+ years of experience working in the creative sector.
My professional book and cover designs command attention and compel your audience to find out more about your book. I craft distinct and attention-grabbing book covers to help your book stand out, online and offline, in a sea of competition. Whether it's a business book or ebook, a novel, short story, poetry collection, or coffee-table book, I'll transform your brief into a stylish and memorable book cover.

I have worked with first-time authors, established publishers and marketing agencies over the years.
My skill set is varied, having benefitted from a fine art background. I am both an artist and designer, and I immerse myself in the design process. I am equally happy painting and illustrating or using computer-based design to visualise your book. In essence, I'm a problem solver and love the creative challenge of interpreting a book as a cover design or book layout.
I love working with creative, passionate people. As an award-winning designer, artist, photographer, writer, and published poet, I have an affinity with creative people, which is why I work so well with them. Having worked with a wide variety of clients from the arts and business sectors, I tailor designs to suit a wide range of styles and genres in both fiction and nonfiction.
I provide branding support for book marketing and promotion and ensure that all marketing materials are clear and consistent.
I'm also director of The Gloucestershire Poetry Society and Editor and Founder of Steel Jackdaw Magazine.

The Book Designer
As a specialist book cover and layout designer, I help entrepreneurs, authors and publishers with beguiling cover designs to command sales. I also provide self-publishing help and design support for book marketing and promotion, book art and illustration
The Graphic Designer
As a creative designer, I help people create positive and engaging messages with bespoke brand design and storytelling.
Self-employed
I'm the director of the Gloucestershire Poetry Society. I'm responsible for celebrating poetry across Gloucestershire through community engagement and online events. I also produce and maintain branding, marketing and promotion, as well as event organisation and hosting, competition management, and workshop facilitation.

I started my own art and literary magazine during the UK Covid Lockdown as a vehicle to promote the power of creative expression and positive environmental and social action.
I am the editor, curator, designer, and publisher of the quarterly editions, which feature international creatives and ethical brands and organisations.
