As a lifelong writer, I have a sincere appreciation of language. I love to work with words, whether it be creating my own pieces with them or immersing myself in another author’s work in order to assist them on their own creative journey. One of my greatest delights in life is the way that finding the perfect combination of words feels like partaking in the most rewarding puzzle of all time. I adore picking up each puzzle piece in order to place it in the perfect spot, no matter how many tries it takes to locate it. During my time spent earning an English degree with a concentration on writing, I’ve been able to cultivate skills through many different styles of writing. My time in advanced creative writing and poetry workshops not only heightened my deep passion for the craft but also taught me invaluable lessons about collaboration and effective communication. Through writing fiction, I’ve learned how important it is to pay close attention to the seemingly little details that are vital to composing the bigger picture. The greatest takeaway I got from my college experience majoring in writing is that there is a sense of magic to be discovered when creative minds come together to make something new. I can’t wait to discover that magic with you!
