Hello! My name is Yvonne Marie, M.Ed. I've been an educator for over 20 years and a professor of English for almost ten years. I'm also a writing coach and editor. As I work with my clients, I become invested and dedicated to seeing a clean manuscript ready to publish. I'm intuitive and insightful. I'm a skilled writer and organizer of words. I've been called an encouraging editor and "the book doula." That's right; your job is to deliver this book, and my job is to help you push!

I am a great believer in the following:
Everyone has a book inside them, a story to tell.
Contrary to what most people think, writing should not be done in isolation. It takes teamwork!
Once you've established your main message, intended audience, and your purpose for writing, you're ready to organize your book.
Organization is the key to the drafting process.
The writing process is non-linear (even though your school teacher told you to follow the steps).
We not only learn to write; we write to learn.
If you must choose between voice and grammar, choose voice.
A clean manuscript is so satisfying.

The Oxford comma is best (although I'm willing to negotiate).
