Nothing excites me more than a great story. I wrote my first feature script in 1999, then met literary manager Dr. Ken Atchity, who said, "Reads like a novel. Write three chapters and get back to me." That's all it took; I was hooked on books. Writing and publishing transitioned into evaluating and editing in 2009, which led to a full-time career freelancing for authors all over the country. I have a knack for story structure and dialogue. And I work on every project as if it were my own. It's a privilege and a pleasure to be a part of an author's dream of completing and publishing a book.

• Founder/President of 529 Books
Although creative nonfiction defines the bulk of my projects, I also edit fiction and a fair amount of projects that have film/TV potential, which is why I write and/or coach writers on how to create movie treatments, proposals, and scripts (see Story Merchant Books).
I've authored (and have had published) two books on Alzheimer's and a romance.
Co-author of Lucky Number Nine (see gallery), and Through Fire and Rain: A Story of Love, Music, Modern Medicine, and Surviving Terminal Brain Cancer (Coming, Fall 2016).
• Alzheimer's Awareness Advocate
As a freelance editor and ghostwriter at Story Merchant, I dedicate my energy, management and editorial skills, and visionary focus to helping writers move their careers forward. I also have the opportunity to be a liaison between authors and Hollywood producers—creating proposals, movie treatments, scripts, pitching and selling book rights where applicable.
