Kate McAuley is, at heart, a storyteller. Calling upon her facility with words (both written and spoken) and photography, she has spent the last 20 years documenting people and places all over the world through the prisms of travel, food, fashion and culture.
As a ghostwriter, Kate has penned several celebrity memoirs, including One Potato, Two, the autobiography of William Chase, the former Herefordshire potato farmer, Tyrrell’s Crisps creator and now premium spirits entrepreneur.
As a features writer, editor and photographer, her work has appeared in international print and online publications, including Elle, Esquire, Time Out, Harper’s Bazaar, Lodestars Anthology, Jamie Magazine, Huffington Post, My Daily, Grazia and Square Meal. For the corporate sector, her recent clients include YouTube, Google, Moroccan Tourist Board, Jamie Oliver, Disasters Emergency Committee, Stylist, Control Risks, St James Trust and dn&co.
Kate is also a proficient public speaker and broadcaster. She regularly appears on both TV and radio as a commentator, covering a broad range of topics from travel security issues to fashion and food trends. She’s also hosted livestream interviews and radio and TV talk shows.
In addition to travelling the world over, Kate has lived in Australia, Japan, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Cameroon, Dubai (UAE), India, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. She holds a MA in Creative Writing from City University (London) and speaks conversational French and Japanese.
