That young teacher was Dr. Karen Croftcheck. She is now President of Oprelle Publications LLC. Dr. Karen began her mission because of the high caliber and intensity of emotion in the writing she was receiving from young adults. Dr. Karen was a high school teacher for many years, and now works also as a university professor, and continues to be an influencer of great writers. Dr. Karen wanted to design a platform that could give young talents some feedback, some recognition, and some real chances to be published. Her company holds contests, features writers and artists, recommends and reviews books, accepts submissions, and hopefully feeds the soul.
