As a newspaper editor, I worked with writers who wrote narrative journalism pieces -- the strictest nonfiction -- that ranged from 3,000-18,000 words. I focus on nuanced storytelling, accurately portrayed detail and critical structure, each of which is vital regardless of whether your work is fiction or nonfiction, short or long.
