Overview

I have been an author for most of my life and as I've self-published my books I've learned the valuable skill of the self-editing and even more so the value of an outside editor.

I am passionate about storytelling as an art and want to help other authors bring their stories to fruition. I have self-published three novels, one poetry anthology, a horror anthology with some coworkers, and a multitude of short stories.

I specialize in developmental and copy editing!

Editing is an art form of its own; part customer service, part art critic, part technical balancing act and I aim to make that process as easy and as generous on you! I will work with you through every hill and hiccup to smooth all the creases and kinks out of your story to make it flow and read well. Some editors like to impose their own way of doing things "right" when in truth there are many ways to do things well including sometimes bending the rules of writing craft and I will work with you to make sure you are bending and breaking rules effectively.

I prefer to work in either word or Google Docs but whichever program or process you want to work in I am eternally flexible and willing to learn new things along the way.
