Overview
I'm a freelance web design professional, originally from Kent, but now based in Stockport (UK). I've worked as a web designer and web application developer since graduating university in 2000. In a freelance capacity, I've worked with WordPress for the last 10 years, creating many sites within a wide range of industries. I've worked both for small, local businesses as well as international brands. I'm a very eloquent, diligent and hard-working freelancer, and I have a great understanding of the WordPress framework.
I'm also highly proficient in CSS, HTML and JavaScript, having also worked for many years as a web application developer dealing primarily with UI/UX for a range of advanced SAAS solutions built in HTML5, CSS3,, C#, jQuery, AngularJS and Angular 2/4/5.

Projects
Building Projects Group
I was tasked with redesigning a website for a construction organisation focusing on high care sectors such as healthcare, education, pharmaceuticals, food production and chemicals. The project involved the creation of several custom post types in WordPress to allow them to better organise and present their information to their target audience (case studies, testimonials, etc). To accompany these post types, I also designed and developed a range of dynamic templates to ensure that the end presentation was well-structured and presented as uniformly as possible, with minimal effort for their team when adding new content to the site.
All Saints Church (Covid lockdown project)
When the pandemic Covid struck, a church leader approached me with a vision to take his congregation's worship online. I worked to deliver a WordPress website that offered a range of features and solutions to allow his remote congregation to stay connected. The site effectively worked as a mini social media hub with user forums, a feed wall, connections (allowing members to 'friend' each other and more.

This project involved a whole-site redesign for a Football coaching business based in Surrey. I worked closely with the owner of the business to redesign the entire site following a thorough business refocus to split out the various business areas into distinct sectors.
