Editor, copy editor and proofreader experienced in urban fantasy, romance, historical and YA fiction.
I was promoted to editor from freelance position, and worked with authors editing their manuscripts to a production deadline. I was responsible for communication with authors and other members of my team (proofreader/copyeditor) to ensure integrity of manuscript was maintained. Served as proofreader and copyeditor on other teams as well. I learned how important it is to maintain an author's voice and vision for their story. My job is just to help you get to the book you wanted.
I was responsible for managing workflow into and out of the proofreading group. Contacted clients to ensure they were kept abreast of their workflow and of any delays. Also worked on editing and proofreading jobs.
Started as a freelance editor at The Writer’s Coffee Shop (novels and short stories), before being promoted to full-time editor (see below). Also worked as a copyeditor for PS Publishing and proofreader for Aurora House Publishing.
I am the editor, proofreader and copyeditor for all client content and responsible for different levels of each according to a client’s needs.
Currently working on fiction and non-fiction content.
