Work experience

Teacher/Editor

Self-employed
January, 2015 – Present (almost 4 years)

I taught high school literature and writing from 1999 - 2015, several years of which was part-time, allowing me to 1) get an MFA in writing from Pacific University, and 2) teach adult fiction writers through the University of Wisconsin. I'm now a freelance writer/teacher/editor. I've worked with fiction writers of many genres, helping them hone their scenes, short stories, and novels. I currently run an online school and do developmental edits on novels and short stories.
