Overview

Sean Arturo Last is a Los Angeles native who has grown up surrounded by a city that has inspired him to pursue a career as a professional author. Having attended the University of Southern California for Narrative Studies, Sean has completed his first full-length novel (Our Autumn Fire) and is currently busying himself editing it in the midst of planning his next major project. He has also completed a number of shorter works in the ongoing effort to quell the demands of the little people in his head who desire their stories be told. Sean designs all the artwork for his stories himself, and he is currently seeking representation for both writing and cover design.

I have been doing a variety of freelance design work over the past several years, ranging from logos, web pages, marketing banners, and various other marketing tools. I have recently shifted my full attention to books, designing covers and formatting interior layouts for printing.

I work closely with my clients before doing any design work to gauge whether I am the right designer for the project, and if so, to determine the best possible angle prior to contracting. I offer a few crude design choices as a first step before narrowing down the ideal choice and polishing it to fit both the client's choice as well as the interest of marketing and content of the project.
