I started my carrier (translation of patents in the field of Chemistry) right after my graduation of college, then I became a freelance translator and engaged in translation of US and JP patents for more than 20 years.
After receiving PhD in science, I started to teach scientific English at universities in Japan and translate books. Currently I live in Strasbourg in France.
During 8 years, I was working for the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. I was engaged in translating English publicity materials, and attended foreign conductors and musicians (pianist/violinist) during the rehearsals with the Orchestra.
