Overview

Having spent eight years working as an editor and commissioner for one of the UK's top three publishers, I have a thorough understanding of what publishers and agents look for in a potential manuscript, as well as a critical editorial eye.

I have worked across a broad range of commercial non-fiction from Sunday Times bestselling celebrity memoirs to inspirational self-improvement titles. Working with independent writers as well as those referred by publishers, I most enjoy working with authors in a collaborative way, helping develop a manuscript from bare concept or evaluating a first draft, whether for future submission to a publisher or for self-publication.
