Barbara Wilson - Editor

Devon, UK

Copy-editor and proofreader specialising in fiction, business and music.

Overview

I offer three types of editorial support: publishing based, providing copy-editing and proofreading services for authors and publishers of both fiction and non-fiction; music based, editing and proofreading music; and business based, supporting companies with their corporate communications.
I've worked across Europe in industry and business consultancy since 1989 and have been an editor and proofreader since 2008. I've been freelance since 2011. I am a Professional Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP). I did my editorial training with the Publishing Training Centre and qualified with distinction. I am Scottish but currently live in Devon. My clients are located all over the UK and Europe. I'm always interested in new projects, to which I bring a creative and flexible approach as well as a meticulous eye for detail.
