I am an educator by profession but a writer by passion. I paint with words, and poetry is my art.

I am a graduate of Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in English. However, my career in writing and media started earlier. During my third year in college, I worked as news editor of The Shield, Letran-Bataan’s official student publication. I also worked as radio broadcaster/newscaster and commentator at Letran-Bataan’s Arriba Campus Radio 87.9.
As a journalist, I specialize in developmental communication (DevComm), where I write expository articles about social issues. I also deliver lectures and trainings in journalism among high school students.
I have an experience in creative writing. During my stint as news editor, I won several awards in poetry and creative non-fiction. Most of my poems made a debut in ‘Barya’, Letran-Bataan’s first literary folio.
Now, I work as an information officer at the City Government of Balanga, where I write press releases, memoranda, inter-agency communication, executive reports, and other official/legal documents. Occasionally, I represent our department in local revalidas.
