I am an illustrator/ designer, publishing professional and interactive fiction enthusiast! I received a BA in Art and English at St. Olaf College and earned my MA in Publishing from the University College London. I am currently living in NYC and working in production for a children's publisher while building up my freelance illustration portfolio. I use my knowledge of publishing trends to create book covers that are both engaging and marketable. It is vital to me to incorporate the author's ideas, perspectives and emotions in my book covers, layouts, and interior illustrations. My designs are highly illustrative and would suit young adult or adult fiction novels. I'm open to collaboration on children's chapter books as well. My style translates best to women's fiction and emotive titles such as 'The Namesake' and 'The Latehomecomer: a Hmong Family Memoir.' I have also worked in social media and can provide engaging and visually striking social media posts for you in order to hype up your book with your social media outlets.
