Alicia Monai is a published author, Spoken Word poet, visual artist and art therapy advocate living in Georgia. She published two books of poetry, one being "Flawed Human, Loved Soul" and the other, "Just Being Honest." She was also published in Adelaide Literary Magazine with her short story "Bad Coffee" and the anthology "Crossing Borders" with the story "How to Kill with Kindness".
She is a writer of mostly Christian content, stories ranging drama & romance to fantasy and children's stories.
Monai has an Associates Degree in Creative Writing in Entertainment from Full Sail University, and is currently working to obtain a certification as an Art Therapy Practitioner. She wrote and co-edited two short films in two different film festivals, including the short film "Changed for a Dollar."
Her passion grew for writing at age 11, preceding two generations of women writers before her. Her dream is to become a best-selling author and continue her career as a full-time artist and art instructor.
