Best Contemporary Fiction Book Review Blogs in 2026

https://thepaperbprincess.wordpress.com/

My name is Eva (pronounced Ava) and my favourite thing to do in the world is read. If I can't be reading, I'd like to be talking about books. I'm really good at recommending books to other people and one day I decided to take that to the next level and blog about books.

I try to be fair and honest in my reviews. I will always highlight both the positive and negative aspects of a book. Additionally, I post my reviews on Goodreads and I link it to my Twitter account as well as my blog's Facebook page. I use a five star rating system.

I generally review YA books with the occasional literary fiction (adult) or middle grade review. The books I choose to read are a combination of my interests/recommendations and ARCs that have come into my possession. All finished copies/ARCs received from publishers are reviewed with the same integrity; the sourcing of my copy does not affect how truthful my review will be.

I enjoy reading somewhat eclectic range of book, but I especially enjoy reading paranormal, science fiction, fantasy and contemporary romance in both adult and YA books. I'm not a huge fan of horror I also don't read much erotica or anything overly graphic, abusive or with a blatant amount of excessive violence.

To have your book considered for review, please send two copies of a galley at least three months in advance of publication, and a finished copy when the book is finished. The book must be available through national distribution, i.e. Ingram and/or Baker & Taylor. Currently, we do not review ebooks or print-on-demand titles. We send galleys out for review consideration, but do not guarantee reviews.

My name is Tracy and I’m a bookaholic. It’s been 35 minutes since I last bought a book and despite having over 450 books on my kindle, 200 books on my bookshelf I can’t stop buying more books. I receive loads of books to read from the publishers and Netgalley – but will only be recommending the books that I think are brilliant. Some you will agree with me about, and others you will hate – and that’s what makes reading so wonderful. Enjoy!
