Hey Reeders,
This story is the official meeting place of a Reedsy group called the Skribbls. We’re a group that leaves feedback on stories and plays Skribble the online Pictionary game almost every day. If you want to join, all you have to do is comment below or ask any of the founders. Also, I realized this message kind of does apply to the prompt.
For anyone who hasn't played skribble before, here's a brief description. You can join through a link and it takes you to our customized game. One person picks a word and draws it while the rest of the people try to guess the word in the skribble chat.

Hey, Maya. Could I get your advice about the Reedsy cast story series? I just can't decide whether to make everyone have super long lifespans or not. What do you think?

Hmm, depends. The benefit to having super long lifetimes is the characters could have more complex pasts (if they've lived longer) Maybe the most powerful, revered magicians could be the ones with the longest lifetimes? Just an idea. :)
When do you think the next part is gonna come out?

Yeah, I know. It’s weird to have to account for. Basically power will grow overtime if they live for a long time. The reason I would want them to live for a while is I could use them a lot longer and it would explain why sometimes the older characters naturally best the younger ones. The other reason is that I could keep using them as long as they don’t die. But on the other hand aging will make way for new characters and whatnot. I’m reading into this too much smh.

The way you said it there makes a lot of sense. Usually, in books at least, it seems older magicians are more powerful than younger ones. Like Dumbledore. XD
