How can my client post a review for me?

How do reviews work?

All client reviews are publicly displayed on the professional’s Reedsy profile. Professionals can publicly respond to these reviews at any time.

Reedsy will not remove a review unless it violates our Terms of Use.

The following types of reviews are not allowed on Reedsy and will be promptly removed from the professional’s profile page:

  • Where the collaboration was canceled, and no work was delivered;
  • Feedback that refers to the client’s experiences outside the scope of the Project;
  • Feedback that uses inappropriate language;
  • Feedback incentivized by a promise for payment, additional services, or a discounted rate;
  • Where user content violated clause 14.3.3. of our Terms;
  • Where user content was created using AI and this was not disclosed to the freelancer; and
  • Feedback motivated by a threat of extortion.

Note: In cases where the professional has issued a full or partial refund, or where Reedsy has ruled in their favor in a dispute, the professional may mention it in their public reply to the review.

How can my client post a review for me?

At the end of every collaboration, your client will be encouraged to leave a review, which involves a star rating and a comment. They can access this review screen through the "Feedback" page in their collaboration dashboard. All your reviews will appear at the bottom of your profile. You can publicly respond to any review by going to your profile and writing a message below it.

Note: Your client can leave a review within a four-month window following the completion date.
