"If you see the book I am writing now, you will bow. I will show him"

Her friend Grace eyed her and smirked. "I think you have to concentrate on something else, the book i have not seen but i am sure it isn't good enough to show him as you said" she eyed her friend wondering if she is a mole or something. Grace knew what was going on in her mind and smirked once again which confuses her more. She decided to play it safe around her by shutting her mouth up first till she is sure on the side she is.

"Linda, i have not switched sides, in fact i have never been on any side for there was none when you think of it well. But to show someone is never a good reason to embark on any venture. It has never worked. Neither will it start working now because you want to show him as you said" she told her while deciphering the utterance not spoken but her eyes are churning out in their numbers. "When you think of it, or after passing through all these, you will eventually find out that Chris doesn't even recall you exist let alone being in competition with you. Showing him isn't a good enough reason to start writing a book for the book will be oozing that mindset. It won't amount to anything" she told supefied friend "no one will buy"

Linda has been in educational competition with herself and cousin that she had believed to be down there and she up there and suddenly found out that the reverse had been the case and can't believe it and set out to do something to prove to the powers that be her cousin is the most illiterate fellow she has ever came across and will prove it to them. Sweating for years now under the cover of acquaintance to discredit and halt the publication of her cousin's work in the name of illiteracy and not educated enough.

But being educated is what she seems despite her claims not to know its true meaning or like her cousin believes, it's a young age at work in her. "She will get over it overtime" he had said when her moves and utterances became public news in their kindred.

There is always this invisible educational competition among relatives; many are not able to admit it exists but at times, Chris knows it does. Reason, illiterate parents and generation they belong to and at times utterances behind closed doors he found out contributes to things like internal sizing up.

You will show him what? Have always been as he sees it his question. If you come out with an award winning book, you will be congratulated first by your supposed rival, rivalry that exists only in your imagination, and once the reason is to show him or her, you will never on this planet come out with anything that worth looking at twice.

Was he writing to show you when he started? There are many ways to prove one's self education instead of engaging in home brew competition that exist in your mind only. You might come out with what will barnish you from the writing world as a psycho or something you can't ever recall or pull down from where you hang them for it has embedded itself in many minds and copies exist in some drawers somewhere you will never believed. Evil and jealousy experience has shown him works in reverse on some humans.

Motivations are what makes something worth something and once it's to show him or her, forget that venture for it won't ever amount to anything but will even end up opening more and worthy doors for the person we want to show in a bad light.

Linda, Chris has found out is being bitten by a creature she has refused to tell her relatives and home brew rivalry is how she believes she will free herself from whatever creature it is. Charity they say begins at home, not rivalry of any kind, especially not education and books.

Putting down and painting in bad light has never aided any issue and doing something because someone else is doing it won't ever last because a book is what warrants putting in the time, effort and money to learn its basics on clean heart and tackle whatever it's you are telling your audience.

Memoir Chris came out with isn't even rated as novel by many because you just think backwards and packaged all your experience and put them down as they occurred and that is that. At Linda's age, she has seen many things including whatever rivalry she believed exists among her relatives, she can starts from there as a memoir to put them down and that will be that.

Instead, Chris heard she joined some "Get him down" group after him, reading and writing nonsense they self publishing a mysterious Bullshits, all in the bid to halt and show him. But Chris is not all that put down with the askew reasoning and acts he is seeing from his cousin, it's somehow benefiting his lot when you really put your mind to it. Soon those that believe you will see that you had been talking to yourself and even look forward to seeing the book and this magical writer you are touched enough to tell the world not to buy his work.

Human mind is sooo inquisitive that warning them that this thing is bad for them instead focuses their mind to that thing. We are programmed by nature to know, to be curious and inquisitive. "Wouldn't you want to know if you are in their shoes?"

Chris has just put out works that can't be recalled back no matter what is thrown at them as stories. Whatever will only act as a marketing stunt and nothing else, you will only end up opening the door you meant to close.

We all have a calling, throwing mud isn't a calling, it's calling that only acts to halt distracting the person that engages in it from his or her true calling. If you don't focus on yours but want to show him or her and jump into theirs, they will only end up showing you more and you will soon end up being frustrated beyond repair.

Some certain charities like book writing start away from home as its source of motivation. Don't ever believe otherwise. Grace, her friend, had been espousing the wisdom in not engaging in this kind of mud throwing, it's a clear playground of the losers and the mesmerized. It has never achieved any lasting dividend to anyone engaging in it. Why would it start now because you want to show chrise?

The book that Chris came out with that is uprooting many sound reasoning and common sense from many is nothing but experience gathered under circumstance none of the mud throwers will ever survive if placed in where that experience came from and manner it was gathered. Mud throwing is even a sign to Chris that his cousin is yet to grasp what it takes to make headway on this planet.

"she will grow out of it" had been his stand and come to know that once bitten by a content creation bug, no man or woman can bring you down or sway your concentration. The world is programmed to work this way.

He sat down, trying to dissect if there was anything of substance he could take out of his cousin's tirades and how it will benefit him in his work. At times he wonders if these acts aren't heaven sending valuable materials his way.
