ATRG#6: The Battle of Traitors and Star-Crossed Lovers

“We broke up after...some events happened.”

I gaped at her. Sasori shook his head.

“Why the fucking hell is he here?”

“How am I supposed to know?”

I butted in.

“Is Gray okay?”

Konan opened her mouth, but Itachi cut her off.

“We are here. Let’s go.”

He looked grim, angry, and sad. Sadder than he always is. Kisame didn’t even say anything, he just followed Itachi.

“Uh...Is it just me, or is Itachi being more of a depressed princess than his usual dumb self?”

“Sasori, it isn’t only him, Kisame’s also acting strange. Let’s just go.”

I mentally prepared myself, shaking my nerves off. I had trained my jutsus almost everyday, and I hoped that I could at least survive.

As we opened the door, rushing out to greet six ugly corpses. They had stopped banging the door awhile ago. The least ugliest stepped towards Konan.

“Konan.”

“Nagato.”

It was clear at once that they still loved each other, but they didn’t say it. They just stood there, staring at each other.

Then I felt a sword slice my shoulder.

K-Kisame?!

He prepared to slice me again, and I ran, tried to dodge my ex-teammate's sword.

“What the fuck, Itachi?”

Sasori had taken out one of his puppets, and was dueling with Itachi. I couldn’t comprehend why they would turn on us. Konan was slicing the corpse that had talked with paper, clearly not hurting him, though.

“KISAME. WHAT. THE. HELL!”

I gripped his sword, and tried to wrench it from him. He tugged it back, shouting “You wouldn’t get why!”

“Fine then! I thought that I could trust you!”

I kicked him in the face, jumping on his sword and punching him again. He stumbled and then slashed me with his sword, getting me in the ankle. I uppercutted him, and he fell unconscious. I felt tears in my eyes, partly from the pain, but also because I thought that Itachi and Kisame would help us. Itachi had joked with me, talked with me, and was just a really cheerful and helpful person.

Or so I thought.

“ARGH!”

I glance over at Sasori, who was holding his broken arm, the puppet limp on the floor. Itachi stood over him, really to land the final blow…

“NOT MY BOYFRIEND, YOU BITCH!”

A familiar blondie rushed to Itachi, and threw an explosive on his face.

“Dei..?”

“Hi, Sasori.”

Deidara turned to Itachi again, and began yeeting bombs at him, Itachi managing to dodge most of them, but getting his robe caught on fire.

“Damn-”

“You should focus on yourself, girl.”

I looked into the eyes of another corpse.

He smashes me in the stomach, and throws a… a cage over me. Clutching my stomach, I wheeze out “Let...Me...Go!”

“Sorry. Girls like you need to stay in the cage.”

Helpless, I could only watch as he ran to Deidara…

Suddenly, I blacked out.

I awoke with purple chakra flowing across my body and strange, swirly lines across my body. Immerse power was flowing through me.

Time, it seemed, had slowed down. I raised my glowing fist, and punched the cage.

“HAAA!”

The cage shattered, and I ran towards Mr. Ugly, ready to tank the blow for Dei, even if it meant getting critically injured.

A giant yellow shield surrounded me.

“Kama!”

Gray arrived, along with a pretty blue-haired lady that immediately punched one of the corpses, an older man who sended three giant red fists at another corpse, a third boy, who was shielding me, and an old woman, “KAYY-YAAA!”-ing an enemy.

Dei was looking at me with surprise as he hugged Sasori. I gave him a “Don’t worry about it.” look.

The boy who saved my life was now shielding the redhead and the blue woman.

Just then, Zetsu appeared, heading towards Sasori.

I thought : Oh, he’s healing him.

But Zetsu flung a dart at Sasori, who blocked it.

Shit. Zetsu’s a betrayer too!

Konan looked horrified as she “dueled” with her ex. She had a desperate look on her face, and clearly needed her ex. But she still didn’t tell him.

The blue-haired woman (whose name was Allegra) rushed towards them, and started healing, which Zetsu was supposed to do.

Three people that betrayed us.

Three people that were once people I thought I could trust.

Three…  

I rushed towards the corpse that trapped me, clutching my hand into a fist.

“You may have trapped me last time, but now…”

“I’ll do it again!” He snarled, leaping at me.

Those were his final words. I screamed “Go to hell!” and smashed him with everything I had. He got obliterated.

Suddenly, Chomei pulled me into a memory.

“Hello! My name is Rin Noroha! This is my husband Kakashi” Rin pointed at Kakashi, who was reading a book, “and his boyfriend, Might Gai!”

It cuts to Might Gai flashing a smile at the camera, and holding a thumbs up.

“We all hope you will take care of Kama!”

Then it cuts to blackness.

Why did that make me so happy?

The battle rages on. Two of the corpses are down (One by Deidara and one by me.) Three traitors. Itachi. Kisame. Zetsu. Only Itachi’s fighting, though. Kisame was knocked out by me, and Zetsu is doing nothing.

The Four Master’s that Gray found are very helpful, but the battle is taking its toll. Allegra’s constantly healing people. Armando keeps swinging. Abdonis puts up numerous shields. And Guru Andma slices enemies.

Just when I think it can’t get any worse, a fourth person arrives on their side, at the same time as another person on our side. These new arrivals startle everyone, and the battle stops for a few precious moments.

Kakuzu, surrounded by black mist, and Hidan have arrived at the scene.
