rubbish romance

I started working in North London just after the local authority had changed the household rubbish collection to differentiate between recyclables and non- recyclables. I was on the recyclables lorry and we took the same routes every week at the same time. Afterwards we ended up in Joleen’s café for a breakfast where as much tea as you could drink was for free and everything else was paid for.
