Overview
I absolutely love the editorial process and the adventure that each individual book always is. With over eight years in the publishing industry and five working in children's literature, I bring confidence and passion to each project. I have worked on many different formats, from activity books to picture books, junior fiction to young adult novels, from the very first part of the publishing process to the last stages of it.
Working with me means working together as a team and collaborating to reach the final product. My favourite part of any process when editing is coming to an understanding together of what is best for the story. The author is the essence of their work, and editors are there to help and guide in any ways they can. Usually that means a lot of comments on Word or Adobe docs, a lot of reading and a lot of communication.

This role has cemented how passionate I am about editing and story-telling. Tasks include project managing a book from its conception to print (including appraisals, scheduling, contracts, structural and copy editing), liaising with and managing authors and illustrators, working with designers, marketing and sales contributions and proofreading. I have worked on a range of formats from picture books to chapter books and novels.
