Video calls on Reedsy are conducted via Zoom and are free and unlimited. Here's how to get started:

1. Discuss a convenient time with the other party through Reedsy messaging.
2. The professional schedules the call — if you're an author, ask your professional to set it up.
3. Once confirmed, both parties receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and a calendar option.
4. Join the call using the link in the email, or via the pop-up that appears on screen if you're logged in to Reedsy when the call starts.
5. Screen sharing is available during the call.
6. A transcript is emailed to both parties afterwards and saved to the project dashboard.
