Author MG Pollard, born in the Steel City, migrated to the Midwest at the turn of the millennium. A lifelong student of psychology, both personally and academically, MG returned to his passion for creative writing, which has been with him since the 3rd grade. His first story, a non-fiction tale about his colossal catch of 13 bluegills during a summer trip, went on to win the Third Grade’s highest award. While this may not mean much in the literary scene, it meant the world to MG and began his hunger for writing.
Now a father, fiancé, and home fixer-upper, MG spends his time between creative projects, diligently working towards a Master of Fine Arts degree, and pursuing happiness with his young family. MGs writing passions include creative non-fiction, as well as poetry, short stories, flash fiction, novellas, and full-length novels. Topics of interest for writing include psychological, crime, and paranormal thrillers, as well as contemporary tales of extraordinary circumstances.
