Savannah Cordova is a content writer and the Editor-in-Chief of the Reedsy Blog, where she creates, edits, and oversees content about writing, editing, book design, and marketing for indie authors. Savannah has eight years of publishing experience and her areas of expertise include genre fiction, short fiction, the editorial process, and the self-publishing landscape. For other outlets, she frequently contributes commentary on literary and publishing trends, as well as in-depth analyses of creative writing techniques and the evolution of specific genres.

Savannah holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Davis, where she specialized in literary criticism and theory and graduated with honors. Her short fiction was selected for the Owl Canyon Press anthology, No Bars and a Dead Battery, and she was also shortlisted for NYC Midnight’s 2018 short fiction competition.
