I’m a creative yet efficient book editor with over 18 years’ experience working in-house for major children’s book publishers. I specialise in picture books and children’s non-fiction and have worked on hugely successful children’s brands such as Horrible Histories and SpongeBob Squarepants. I love a good pun and believe humour is important in engaging children and helping them learn.
I have experience of working with high profile authors but have also guided novice authors through the entire publishing process. I really enjoying working with authors to turn an idea or first draft into a commercially viable manuscript.
I’ve you’re stuck as to what you need to do next, or just need an editor’s opinion, I can help.
I offer the following services:
• Manuscript assessment
• Structural editing
• Writing back cover copy and sales/marketing material.
